SRM University closes B.Tech admission for the year 2015

The SRM University, Chennai has closed the admission for the B.Tech courses in its campuses for the academic year 2015-16.

The SRMJEEE 2015 counseling was concluded on May 24, 2015, which was commenced on May 17, 2015 at Dr. T.P Ganesan Auditorium.

Prof. MuthuSubramaniam, Director of Admissions, SRM University, said, "Candidates are called based on their scores in the university's entrance test. We saw a lot of takers for computer science, while software engineering had the least number."

As per the sources, on the first day of the counseling, around 1,000 aspirants had attended for the seat selection process.

According to the sources, there are very few seats left for admission to B.Tech courses under management quota. For this aspirants have to pay extra fee to get admission under management quota.

The admission process under management quota would be done through first come first serve basis. The aspirant who will come first for admission would be get seat as early as possible.

The aspirants who had already pay the fee in counselling have to pay the remaining fee in stipulated time.

Aspirants are advised to visit the official website of SRM University to check the date and time to pay the remaining fee for the year 2015.
