Qualifying marks for JEE Advanced 2015

The qualifying marks for the JEE Advanced 2015 has been released. Aspirants are advised to visit the official website to check the marks.

As per the official website, the total marks obtained in Mathematics will be the marks awarded for Mathematics in Paper 1 and Paper 2. The total marks obtained in Physics and Chemistry will also be calculated in the same way.

The aggregate marks will be calculated as the sum of the marks obtained in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry.

Candidates have to satisfy the subject-wise cut-off as well as the aggregate qualifying marks to be included in a rank list.

The minimum percentage marks for general category students is 10, for OBC it is 9 and for SC/ST it is 5 marks.

In case of tie-break, the candidate with higher aggregate marks will be assigned a better/higher rank. If two candidates have the same aggregate marks, then the candidate with higher marks in mathematics will be assigned a better / higher rank.
