JEE Main 2015 Results Out, JEE Advanced 2015 Cutoff is 105

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), New Delhi has announced the results of Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main on April 27, 2015 at 3 PM on Tuesday.

Around 12,92,711students had registered for the exam, out of which 1,52,401 have been qualified for the JEE (Advanced) 2015 exam based on the cut-off declared by the board.

According to the reports, CBSE board said that they have been awarded 2 grace marks to the questions which were found error in the offline examination to the students.

The JEE Main 2015 exam was conducted in online and offline mode.A total of 11,05,021 candidates opted for the offline exams while the rest opted for the online exam. Out of which, around 1,24,297are boys and 28,104 are girls have qualified for the JEEAdvanced 2015 exam.

The cut off marks for JEE Advanced 2015 exam as below;

  • For general category students: 105 marks
  • For OBC category students: 70 marks
  • For SC category students: 50 marks
  • For ST category students: 40 marks

The online registration process for JEE Advanced 2015 would begin from May 2 to 7, 2015. It is the qualifying entrance exam for getting admission into 16 IITs and ISM Dhanbad for engineering / technology courses for the academic year 2015-16.
