JEE Advanced 2015 Exam Analysis; Tricky and Lengthy

The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Bombay had conducted the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Advanced 2015 on May 24, 2015 across India.

Around 1.22 lakh candidates had appeared for the examination.

According to the students the JEE Advanced 2015 paper was lengthy, tricky and out of the exam pattern. The examination was held two slots, Paper 1 was conducted on from morning 9 AM to 12 PM and Paper 2 was held from 2 PM to 5 PM.

Some of the students in some exam centres claimed that the paper was tough and the negative marks have been increased from 1 mark to 2 marks.

Apparently, the Paper 1 had contained 60 questions of 264 marks and Paper 2 had 60 questions of 240 marks. The questions in Paper 2 were time consuming.

Most of the JEE Advanced aspirants also claimed that the paper was tougher than last year. Aspirants are prepared for the exam according to the pattern provided by the board, but the paper had some of the question out of the pattern.

Coaching experts from various leading institutes also agreed with the candidates. They are also in view that Chemistry section was the easiest. Mathematics section consumed comparatively more time of candidates as the questions were very lengthy.

According to a majority of the test-takers and academic experts, the Mathematics paper was moderately difficult, while Physics and Chemistry were easier.

As per the reports, JEE Advanced 2015 answer keys would be released on June 08, 2015.
